carolina watercraft works wrote the more time passes...the more im headed to bio myself with my next truck. cost about 70 cents/gallon to make. already thinking of a larger tank system to make larger batches. taking a little bit of time once a month...to save a ton of duggets is looking better and better all the time. it costs me about $1.00 per gallon to make. the biggest single production cost for me is buying methanol at $3.50 a gallon. that doesnt include my time electricity reduction in mpg fuel burned collecting and drying w.v.o. wash water etc. making biodiesel isnt exactly hard to do but it isnt as simple as some lead you to believe. it is very worthwhile but it isnt ideal for everyone. if you think of it as anything more than a hobby it becomes work. -- ken .

hhmm....my shaft was splined which allowed me to position the wheel properly. im sure there is something you may have overlooked. id double check the shafts. -- ------------------------------------------ laszlo almasi ----cool toys formerly carolina watercraft works ----mack daddy trailers ----ice angels on sat 12 aug 2006 153032 -0400 carolina watercraft works wrote mine installed with no problem at all. maybe you need to reinstall it possibly i dont think so. theres only one way the unit could be assembled according to the instructions. the only possible other way to install it would result in the steering wheel being 90 degrees out in the opposite direction. .

i installed a borgeson steering shaft this morning. the quality of the unit looks like top shelf. it was an easy install there was only one way the bottom splines would line up and there was only one way the top joint would line up. unfortunately my steering wheel is now 90 degrees off center. i did not read about or see any adjustment on the shaft itself. can my steering wheel be straightened with front end adjustments or have i just gotten a defective steering shaft call them monday and see what they say. my guess is to adjust the tie rod length from the steering box until the wheel is straight. greg .

i found a used 2005 dodge ram 2500 4x4 with ctd 3.73 gears i think thats what they were certainly not the 4.10 and 4 speed automatic transmission. i will typically carry 800-1300 lbs and would like any advice or experience from others. would i be better off finding one with 4.10 gears how reliable is the transmission i would rather have manual but gotta go with what i can find used. the dealer ran the vin at the damilier-chryler dealer site but couldnt didnt see that it had limited slip rear end. did they come standard or is this likely an open diff what else to look for or be wary of thanks. .

i have a 2001 dodge maxi van with 72k miles on the 5.9 engine. my check engine light is on and the only code stored is p0601 which indicates a pcm failure. the engine seems to run normally transmission shifts normally etc. ive erased the code a few times by disconnecting battery power but the code always comes back after just a couple minutes of run time. this vehicle is normally driven around town so ive just put repair on hold but we are now planning a longer trip florida to colorado and return. is this going to cause a problem on the road funds are llimited and id prefer to put off the repair if possible. any recommendations thanks mark .

says... the fly in the ointment here is new nox regs that is going to make diesel a lot less atractive and expensive to package plus rising fuel prices as they pass on costs for removing sulpher from fuel by next fall. whats your thought on a flex fuel dakota then dodge has announced that the 4.7l engine will be offered in flex fuel for the 07 dakota. i want a diesel but if i cant have one then i dont want to continue to support the ragheads. what makes you think that owning a diesel will not be supporting the ragheads -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .
