Banging noise in front end of 92 W250

Q: been looking for this for a while. today i got serious. turned out the transmission/transfer case rear mount cross member was loose where it bolts to the frame on the passengers side. also found the right side front shock lower mount a tad loose. its quiet again i did something else. i spread the front leafs and put very heavy grease in between them. hope that wasnt a mistake. al .
