Q: was replacing ujoints in dana 44 front axledecided might as well replace axle seals in 1994 1500.question is do i pull both axles and ring gears to put new seals inmy repair manual dosnt say anything about seals.guess question is do they go in from inside or outside thanks. .

was replacing ujoints in dana 44 front axledecided might as well replace axle seals in 1994 1500.question is do i pull both axles and ring gears to put new seals in to replace the drivers side you need to remove the differential. the passenger side can be accessed through the cad motor housing. both sides require a special tool to seat the seals. .
