jerry jhmoorman1nospam@juno.com writes then they agree to the warrenty replacement. anyone else this is apparently a common problem. my 99 had its first lp replaced at 34k and the second replaced at 56k both under warranty. while at the dealer waiting for the install of second replacement i test drove an 03 ho and traded the 99 for it. aw .

wait a little bit and get the new 600hd with the 6 speed manual. joe on fri 16 jan 2004 083046 -0500 woody ars1@ttlc.net wrote i have a 97 ram 1500 4x4 with a 5-speed manual and have been very happy with it. nice smooth shifting transmission. we are considering ordering a new 2500 4x4 and as i am still partial to a manual trans i would probably bypass the automatic. use includes towing the horse trailer and plowing our long driveway which is real hard on the 1500. of course we have not been able to find a new 2500 with manual trans anywhere in new england to test drive. does anyone have experience with the nv-4500 manual transmission as the wife will also be a driver a smooth shifting trans would sure be nice. i would appreciate hearing from anyone with experience. also is the 5-speed automatic good enough so that i should consider setting aside my manual trams bias in the past dodge did not have a good reputation for reliability in the automatics. one other small but very important item the cup holders. my 97 has what i consider an optimum design with the cup holders high above the shift leaver. the 2004 slt automatic that we test drove had the cup holders low right where a manual shift leaver would be and there is no provision in the dash design for a high mount. so what is the situation with a manual trans thanks btw it is a nice minus 9 degrees with minus 30 wind chill here in central nh at 830 am. .

cbhvac stephenaddressscfrewedonpurpose@carolinabreezehvac.com wrote in easy...you got to be cool...bet you got loud pipes and those cool tips on your truck... some people like those. maybe you dont. so whats the problem some people want to look cool. not everybody wants a confederate flag in the back window and a kennel in the bed. the world is full of many types and theyre not all going to be like you. and theres nothing wrong with that. define cool what is cool to me may not be cool to you. thats the point. if someone thinks it is cool to have tips on their exhaust and gets them and you or i think its stupid so what im not going to critisize that person for what they like. ditto the confederate flag and kennel. everybody is different - thats what makes the world so interesting. but some close-minded people shudder when they see something different from what they believe and will even critisize them in groups like this.. some people dont care what their ride looks like. others care a lot. some a helluva lot. so what to each his or her own! whether or not a k&n filter is a good idea is a legitimate technical question but then to tie that to other items that are clearly a matter of personal choice is simply childish. to start whining that these are the people with loud pipes and cool tips exposes the biases of the author. if someone wants to put a flowmaster and tips on their truck what difference should that make to the rest of us .

rick; this would be a good example of the psychology so to speak of course that exists on this ng. a seemingly normal statement is made then a regular such as mini max responds with a sophomoric simple minded and ludicrous answer that has no bearing or foundation in the prior discusion. the regulars will all support these statements like this one from mini max and laugh as if you were the one that wrote the idiotic rambling rather than one of thier own. the psychology is interesting. they really dont like each other all that well but they the regulars identify so strongly with this ng that they have to support any other regular because to fail to do so would be to fail to support their own identity. now for mini max. i wouldnt take him too seriously. mini max is just a little handicapped and this is the only way that he can try to get attention. i feel sorry for him. i am sure that he is bitter about his condition and full of great ideas about what he could have been and what he could have achieved if he had just been given a brain. mini max what would you have done with a brain if you had been given one mr. theguy could you define who a regular is ive noticed over the years that you have posted in here numerous times but by this post it sounds like you dont include yourself as a regular. do you have to post x amount of times to be regular do you have to eat x amount of fibre to become regular or am i just being irregular i wonder............................ denny .

sounds like the amsoil thing all over again on wed 14 jan 2004 024453 gmt rick blaine fernjames-nospam@shaw.ca wrote i find it remarkable that such a frivolous product can see such wide spread use and continue to sell year after year when its so obviously a ruse. then a lot of people are being duped. rick i think you just hit the nail on the head... a bunch of people have bought these cause they look cool or cause their buddy has one or cause they saw it on hot rod tv. if the filter really did what it was claimed to kn would have no trouble running a few dyno tests to show it off. just because it sounds faster doesnt mean it really is faster. denny .
