my 63 one ton axle bearing nut is 8 sided as opposed to hex. it is 2 3/4 sae. does anyone know where i can purchase a tool to remove and install this nut. tia. you cant get it off with a bf wrench if not snap on is a possibilty i ve had to buy special items from them in the past i ve been in the printing industry forever and have had to repair my share of machinery and many a times i ve come across some situation where i need a special tool or socket or whatever snap on aint cheap and chances are you may never need the tool again but what are you options in my cases production was halted and shit needed to be fixed to get things rolling again so thats about all i can come up with! 79 t/a ws6 455 hurst 4 spd blk w/ t-tops heavily fortified 4mpg 00 ram 2500hd qc v-10 4x4blk5 spd410 lsd 10mpg 98 intruder 1400 blk 5 spd 25mpg .
