Any "approved" chips

Q: im looking to put a chip in my 04 2500 4x4 dodge cummins but have heard that putting in a chip can void the warranty. are there any chips that are dc approved which will not void the warranty and that do not require any dial-a-setting feature thanks in advance for the input. don .
