i thought thats how you torqued the lug nuts on your truck eg wha you mean youre not supposed to in truth on my 3500s i do just run them down with the impact gun. steel wheels big two-piece lugnuts... unless youre stupid with the gun you cant really hurt them. on my 2500 or anyone elses vehicle especially with aluminum wheels ill run the lugs down with the impact gun set on 75 ft.lbs. or so in the proper pattern then torque them with a torque wrench. .

question..... did you buy the qrts from the same guy you bought the gallons from yep. he said all our stuff just went down meaning not just the atf+4. the per gallon cost at the time i bought the gallon containers saved very little over the $7.20/qt cost i think the gallon was like $27 versus $28.80 if id bought it per quart. on tuesday i called around and discovered that both our area chrysler dealerships unrelated ownership were selling atf+4 for the same price $7.20/qt. youch! still i felt i had no choice but to get it to be sure i was doing the best thing for my friends van. me to parts guy at dealership so whens chrysler gonna let somebody else sell this stuff parts guy hopefully never. so i picked up two gallons and did the flush. achieve correct fluid level. so two days later yesterday i went back to the same dealer for the final two quarts and guess what - the price had dropped to $5.10/qt. doh!!! mike .

tbone wrote the point of the tax if it ever comes to be is to make people think beefore collecting a fleet of junk cars. then whoever thought of that solution is a moron or has another agenda. as has been mentioned several times already in this thread there are any number of laws that can and have been enacted to control abusive parking of junk cars that do not also penalize those who are doing nothing wrong as a blanket tax would. and if those laws actually worked we wouldnt have this problem or the proposal for this punishment tax. any way you look at it our society has become a very much self centered and few people give a damn about anyone but themselves and the only way to make many of them tink about what they do is to impose some sort of cost to it. it sure did wake up most of you guys with just the idea of it. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

have you checked the ballast resistor. its a white ceramic block on the left fender. i didnt think anybody used points after 1970. and would that be a 1978 d200 3/4 ton nirodac gday from the land down under can anyone help my mate down here has an imported 1978 dodge d20 3 ton . the motor we think is non original 318 .very smokey it has points ignition. we cannot get it to run without bypassing the ignition . starter to battery & coil there is one wire under the bonnet we do not know what it goes to at distributor 1 does anyone in the states have a workshop electrical drawing that can be scanned and emailed to me or know of websites to obtain workshop manuals . all australian hemis were electronic ignition after 73 2 would this be the correct build engine for this d20 with points very interested in american dodges and plymouths after serving my apprenticeship at chrysler aust. as an engineering patternmaker and had a lot to do with hemis and fireballs 3 can anyone help us convict stock down under 4 my mates brother-in-law would like to import any dodges or plymouths 55 to 75 . does anyone have anything laying around out the back rusting away wanting to sell of any interest muscle cars or unique please send any pics . 5 is it as simple to covert points to electronic simply but installing a an electronic dizzy thank-you all and kind regards pfinch@esc.net.au .

will the existing dana 44 front housing accept the differential from a 8 3/4 i actually found out that the 8 3/4 uses a banjo-type axle assembly while the dana 44 use a carrier-tube axle assembly. definately not interchangable. =p thanks to all that helped bill ...and on the other hand you have 5 fingers... .
