wow. thanks stan. got all the install equipment for free instructions and still cheaper than anywhere else! todd also go to http//www.crutchfield.com they give detailed install instructions and any hardware needed. stan tom thanks for the perfect thorough response! todd is there any detailed instructions out there on how to first remove factory unit and install a new one - remove the screw above the bag holder just to the left of the glove compartment. - open up the ashtray and cupholder trays - this is to prevent scratching the fronts later on - remove the entire center bezel panel by pulling it off. start at the bag holder - just give it a good yank - the panel is held in place with metal spring clips which will scratch up the fronts of the cupholder and ashtray had you not opened them up first - once the bezel is removed rest it on the cupholder and disconnect all of the electrical connectors theyre all different so no need to worry about getting them mixed up - set the center bezel aside - remove the four screws holding the radio in place. - slide the radio out and disconnect the electrical and antenna connections from the rear installation will be the reverse. be warned that the antenna connector isnt a standard gm-style connector so you may need an adapter to go to an aftermarket unit. .

roy wrote bingo!!! we have a winner!!! vbg if the trailer is really tall you might consider making a v shaped false front on it to reduce the drag or if needed you can add some storage in the fairing. it wont give you the same mileage as not towing but it can significantly help. denny has one of those only it is more of a u shape. it is his stomach. bfg doesnt that kind of shape increase drag ..... jerry .

you didnt say what year but the late models work off a computer. anyone here ever tried this i am wondering if the doors are already equipped with the applicable harnesses to do this. if so it should be a farly simple job of installing the motor assemblies i assume different regulators too and the switches. and of course probably attaching some disconnected wire at the fuse box or something. i am going on the assumption that dodge like most other manufacturers finds it cheaper and easier in the end putting the same wire harness in all the dakotas rather than having multiple harnesses. any thoughts on this thanks john .

nosey wrote i was just wondering what negative effects kerosene could have on the ram fuel system. lubricity loss on the lift pump is it compatible with the rubber in the fuel system i think the problem with todays diesel fuel lubrication ability is pretty much of a myth now days. the manufactures have added additives to replace what was lost when sulfur content was lowered. now if you add kerosene it might be safer to add something just to be sure. of course you will run a little higher egts with a kerosene mix. you still in the navy working around planes if so you have some of the best stuff around you for winter and summer. good old jp5 and dfm mixed 50/50. dfm works great by itself but smokes a little. ran it in the 89 dodge cummins i had several times. of course nis kind of frowns on it if they find out jerry .

here is a possible solution i have used successfully several times. this will work if the bolt is not bottomed out in the hole and has not had locktite used on it. using a sharp pointed tool like a scribe put the point of the tool against the end of the bolt toward the side of the bolt and work it in a counterclockwise motion turning the bolt out of the threads. hope this works for you. frank friends i have a 1996 1500 pu 4x4 5.9l. it has what the dealership calls a 9 1/4 corporate rear differential. i was changing the lube in it and had removed the cover. as i put the differential cover back on and was tightening the bolts the head of the very top ones sheared off. my question is can i leave it like this until i service it again or am i going to have to get it tapped out thanks steve the dummy .

sorry as a caveat i have the 3.92 i think rear end on my truck. hey guys used to hang out on this forum right when i bought my truck five years or so ago but have dropped off till recently...however my 1999 dodge ram qc long bed is getting old and has 135000 miles on it in ive got the 5.9l v8 and gas mileage is pretty bad in the 12-13 on the highway and 10-12 around town... if im pulling something its falling down to 9 mpg. in short it sucks... does anyone have any advice.. ive just recently replaced the distributor cap well actually my mechanic did and weve run fuel injector cleaner...spark plugs and wires are only 20k miles old...air filter was replaced recently. im lost... what can i do to get the mileage and power back up also its got other small problems... in the top console one of the push button lights has gone out and i cant figure how to get the console off to replace the bulb... the electronic door lock on the passenger side door is also no longer working and when you attempt to lock it it makes a whirring noise and tries to lock but usually doesnt. finally the seal on the back window is leaking and i cant figure out how to just order a new seal. the dodge dealership says i have to order a whole new back window assembly for around $400... yikes!! help! does anyone have a good book to recommend tia carl chipman .

at least this argument makes some sense its the same argument others noted only you finally get it... maybe.... not by a long shot max. you and others keep screaming about dastardly plots to destroy the country from within lol. but i have a question for you to think about. if the person truly loved the country of their birth to even the point where a conflict of interest could occur why would they give up their citizenship with that country answer many countries allow dual citizenship. just because they become a citizen here doesnt mean they are disowned by the country they were born in. yea but its not so easy to do in the us and in that case the us citizen requirement could be changed to no dual citizenship and for all i know it already is that way. if you think that it is easy for them to do put yourself in their place and could you give up your citizenship with this country for that of another even if you planned on living there for a long period of time. the simple fact that they come here means theat they are looking for opportunity thus its not a matter of loyalty but a matter of economics. once again you speak without knowlege. while economics may bring them here it is not a reason to change there citizenship when a green card will do just as well. thus since its not about loyalty its just one more reason to keep the rquirements in place. people dont give up the country they love for economics and if economics is all that it was about why would they attempt to run for president sorry max but you argument just doesnt hold water. and then you still seem to keep forgetting that just because they run doesnt mean that they will get the job. that is still up to the american people. have you answered those questions yet hint a single one line repeated after each question isnt an answer. i answered each one exactly the right way. if they are citizens of this country then they should be treated as such and with that all of your test have to be done the same way regardless of place of birth. now if citizens born here are not required to pass such tests than neither should the ones born elsewhere. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

detailer told me there were no shore billets available unless i wanted to go to the nuclear power training unit in charleston. those poor guys are welded to the pier but spend more time operating like theyre out at sea than any ship in the fleet not to mention rotating shift work every week. my second option was to be shipped out to rota spain to meet a sub just arriving for a med deployment. i had just gotten back from a med-run followed by an arctic deployment. my last option was a boat out of pearl leaving for a westpac in 3 weeks. im alergic to palm trees so that was out. i gave them a 4th option and transfered to civlant and became a reservist. i more than doubled my pay and changed rates into a high recall billet. when i get bored at work i voulenteer for an active duty assignment and head out for vacation. best of both worlds! on thu 18 nov 2004 105729 gmt greg surratt glsurratt@verizon.net wrote on thu 18 nov 2004 035813 gmt nosey kfrei43@removethis.hotmail.com wrote must be nice! i just ccg-4 and when we provided training for carrier battle groups we actually had to go ride the carriers. ;- i like our arrangement. i actually enjoyed it. 25 days underway four months in a cushy office with the sea duty counter churning away . . . detailer had to have me on shore duty so ive just ended a 10 year run of sea tours. dont know what the navy is coming to when a sailor cant go to sea. .
