Q: getting right around 16.5 mpg in 98 ram 1500 w/ 105000 miles v6 3.9l and i will now officially stop trying to get any better. this post thread has cured me. my 2000 dakota sport 4x4 with v6 averages around 15mpg. larger trucks with 8 cyl. engines get better mileage. does anybody have any advise on how to improve mileage i make sure my tires are inflated properly have a bed cover and do regular oil changes and tune-ups. thanks in advance. .
