From : pop bunkle
Q: re atf question i called the place where i normally get my oil/lube job done and asked them about doing the transmission service for my 2000 ram van 3500/maxi. when i asked about the atf they used he said that they added a friction modifier to their standard atf. that made me a little leery so i wound up taking it to the dodge dealer. has anyone had this stuff used in their a/t is it ok bill ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// from gunbunny31@msn.com gunbunny31 dont do it! go to the dodge dealer and buy atf+4 snipped ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// most....dealer techs.... only know what they are told about or read about when it comes to transmissions. theyre programed. and the sad thing is........... they are a sub-program designed for programing. you know what they say about programing.... shit in.......shit out. pop bunkle suggests a tranny shop for your best info.... he wouldnt want to see you programed by a program like the program that programed the gunbunny pop bunkle wonders if that 31 on gunbunnies nic stands fer kills or vehicals worked on...or both this poster will self destruct...... after a 5th of crown royal....... oo l o .

i missed the first part of this post. where can i get one of the scan tools you are talking about i see how you got to the ignition coil as the culprit from that article. my mind blanked out that paragraph when i read the final cause of the authors problem. so your right the scan tool would have picked up the problem right at first. i like this model because it comes in two version one for the palm pilot and one for the pc. palms are getting so cheap you could leave it in the glove box as did the writer of that article. thanks ray ray im still gonna get one of those scan tools it would have told me it was the coil not the injector. and its cool too...hehe on tue 14 oct 2003 054230 gmt nirodac nirodac@hotmail.com wrote glad to hear you fixed your problem so much for the after market scan tools. ray well turns out it was a bad coil pack and plugs they wanted 178.00 to install...lol. no thanks just give me the parts.on sun 12 oct 2003 141949 gmt toddd darinzo@optonline.net.invalid wrote now if i could just detrmine why the misfireing on the # 3 cylinder. ciolpackinjecteror bad plug intake manifold leak can definitely cause misfires .
