at work once in awhile i see customers that blame water on the floor on windshields that i have installed. when in fact if you cannot see water on the inside of the windshield it is very rarely the culprit. but it could be if you had a bad install i find many cars that have pine needles leaves and just plain old accumulated road dirt under the cowl and this can plug up drainage paths and send water through body seams in the firewall. passenger side moisture will often mean heater core issues look up under the dash with a flashlight and see if spot any green liquid drops. often you cannot see the color of the liquid when it is absorbed into carpet and you could miss the obvious. and it will not take much to saturate the carpet without seeing a drop in the coolant level and because it is hard to dry the padding it just keep accumulating next i would check your door grommets. good luck. -- from the desk of jesse a. harrington i have a 99 quad-cab that water on the passenger side. the water is not dripping but seems to be coming from under the carpet. i took a quick look and did not see anything. any ideas on what the problem is .

go to your local dealer and look up the drain tube for an older model and then install it. i had the same problem with my 02. the water from the drain wouls run back against the firewall and seep in around the foam gasket that is installed from the inside. i had to have the whole carpet replaced in mine warrenty. kevin *cbhvac* stephen@screweduponpurpose@carolinabreezehvac.com wrote in i have a 99 quad-cab that water on the passenger side. the water is not dripping but seems to be coming from under the carpet. i took a quick look and did not see anything. any ideas on what the problem is yup the condensate drain is clogged. clean it out its fairly easy to get to and if the end is like many with a tapered end cut it slightly back at an angle. the drain line comes out from the firewall with no angle. the drain line on my wifes chevy truck has a 90 el on it pointing down. should my drain have one .

my truck was a 2002 you might have to look at the drain tube for a full size. if your close to your parts counter guy you can look at all years until you find the tube. i had mine done under warrenty so i have no idea what year the part cam off of. i helps that my brother in law is a mech at the local dealer this is also why i buy dc autos. kevin *cbhvac* stephen@screweduponpurpose@carolinabreezehvac.com wrote in i have a 99 quad-cab that water on the passenger side. the water is not dripping but seems to be coming from under the carpet. i took a quick look and did not see anything. any ideas on what the problem is yup the condensate drain is clogged. clean it out its fairly easy to get to and if the end is like many with a tapered end cut it slightly back at an angle. the drain line comes out from the firewall with no angle. the drain line on my wifes chevy truck has a 90 el on it pointing down. should my drain have one what year truck should i ask for .

go to your local dodge parts room ask for a 4677435ac drain tube. this has the angle and the 45 deg cut at the bottom so that the end wont clog. .
