A/C -- Heater Blower not working

Q: the fan blower for the ac - heater is not running. the fuse checks good. any ideas about the most likely cause. is is common for the blower motor to fail 1996 dakota v6. it was running normallly until today. oldtimer .

on tue 08 jun 2004 194943 -0700 oldtimer wrote the fan blower for the ac - heater is not running. the fuse checks good. any ideas about the most likely cause. is is common for the blower motor to fail 1996 dakota v6. it was running normallly until today. oldtimer disregard my above question. immediately after posting this i googled and found out about the heater blower resistor. i went out to the garage raised the hood located the resistor block. i pulled the terminal off and saw a very dirty terminal used some crocus cloth on it plugged it back in turned on the ignition turned on the blower switch and volia! the blower is working again. how would i ever make it if not for the groups. absolutely the best part of the internet and most computer users dont even know they exist. oldtimer .
