ABS + Parking Brake Light Came On and Won't Go Out. Whats Wrong and What to Do?

Q: well i replaced the trans fluid and filter and the kit came with a rubber pan gasket - so i rtved the gasket to the pan ran a bead on top the gasket and torqued it to specs. road test - no leaks. next morning all the trans fluid had drained out onto the driveway. i added a quart and it ran out the back end of the pan to trans seal. the old seal did not use a gasket just rtv. is that the best way to seal the pan just run a bead of rtv and forget the gasket what a mess. kpg sorry to hear of your mess!! this exact same thing happened to me in december. the tranny pan was installed with a cork gasket from the factory; mopar hasnt used cork gaskets from the factory in decades. ive had exactly zero problems using the rubber coated metal gaskets. you cant get anything easier to use. denny when i went to the dealership service/parts counter - they sold me a rubber/plastic gasket that they said was re-usable for the life of the tranny. parts guy said he hadnt sold a cork gasket in the last year or so. took it home - tried to make the sucker work - no way this was happening!!! after stripping three bolts using an inch/pound torque wrench to specs. and using heli-coils to fix them - i went to advance auto - bought a cork gasket and had the sucker buttoned-up and not leaking in 30 minutes. is it just me - why do i always think to myself something just doesnt look right but still go ahead and try to make it work - and make the job 1 to 2 hours longer than it should be!!! like the famous quote from star wars use the force. i should trust my first instinct. unca bob .

drove the new 05 3500 dually from dallas to churchville ny. left on saturday and got home last night about 6pm. 3088 miles. picked up my new 34 foot 5th wheeler. its the first time ive towed with the turbo-d. i loved my 2500 hemi truck but it couldnt hold a candle to the 610 foot pounds of torque this baby cranks out. it towed like it wasnt there. up the hills down the hills around the corners etc. im sure the duallies help to stabilize the ride better than a standard ass end but i couldnt believe it. my wife kept asking me why i had this shit eattin grin on my face......... anyway im glad i bought it. i got 18 mpg going up to ny and 11 mpg coming home. i only took it outta drive once cause i had to start from a dead stop at the bottom of a mountain but other than that i didnt use the tow switch. i used the cruise control when not in the cities. never had any problem with it shifting allot on hills either. i prolly could have gotten better mileage but i was cruising at 75 to 80 on the open roads for most of the trip. the radar detector saved my ass many a times but i cant just do the speed limit. i have an authority problem and it was nascars big opening weekend. its nice to own a truck you know can pull a building off its foundation.....if i do much more long trips like this one i think ill go ahead an invest in sirus. east coast country radio sucks. country music sucks no matter where you are. bfg roy -- moparman---remove clothes to reply! --scud coordinates 32.61204 north 96.92993 west-- .

today driving at a steady highway speed 99 dodge pickup i experienced a problem with my cummins diesel engine which if it had of been a gas engine i would have called it a high speed miss . the truck seemed to loose a bit of power when going up a slight incline. the problem seemed to disappear but again on an incline the miss was somewhat evident. i will take the truck in to the dealer as soon as possible. i did open the water collection valve and the problem is still there. about 60000 miles on the engine now. any ideas .
