Q: hi guysgirls i was wondering if anybody has experienced this problem before. i have a dodge ram 1500 with the 5.2l v8 and all of a sudden when i was entering the freeway the engine would not rev over 2800 rpm even when you floored the gas it just doesnt go even it if i have it in park and floor the gas it still will not go over 2800 rpm and it doesnt matter it its cold or warm or what gear the transmission is in. i have been having problems with the engine misfiring when i start the engine so i changed the spark plugs and wires. .
