Q: nitpik wrote second thought .. the power steering pressure sensor switch which bumps up the idle speed when turning at a slow speed .. switch might be faulty and kicking the rpms up when you dont need it to. its located on the output hose of the power steering pump. in first and sometimes in second gear when going really slow the truck will lunge forward a bit back to normal forward back. sometimes just a bit sometimes quite a lot. kind of like a dog lunging on a leash. jmc thanks for the additional idea but im almost always going straight ahead when this happens - which would discount this possible problem right jmc .

roy wrote it certainly did!! more snow on wed. dont know where to put it. how much did you get roy about 2+1/2 feet with some good size drifts about 15 inches here but nice and dry and fluffy stuff. understand out east there was as much as 3 feet cape and north shore. the cape was hammered. gotta love that 83 mph wind gust out on nantucket not to mention 25+ foot seas! my sailboat stayed in port. fortunate that it stayed. roy smh .
