99 RAM rear end troubles

Q: i have a 99 4x4 quad cab ram with the 5.9. my problem is that when at rolling spped ie 5 to 10 mph when i turn either right or left i hear a sound very simuliar but not as drastic to the sound when the 4x4 is engaged although its in 2wd. has anyone ever heard of this before rj .
