'99 Durango Window Motor

Q: i have been told that i could install the coil spring from a 2500 into my 1500 yep - itll fit. it will give you a little lift in the front but the ride will be harsher. if youre looking to level the truck out youd get a better ride by retaining your stock springs and installing some coil spring spacers. daystar is a company that makes these. since youll be changing the front geometery around some be sure to have the truck re-aligned once youre finished whichever way you decide to go. or you could go with a true suspension lift from one of several aftermarket suspension companies. do a google on dodge ram 1500 suspension lift kit. .

either that or you could use a thermo-cube inside the engine compartment. my heater comes on at 35 and goes off at 45. so when the engine compartment is above 45 the heater cuts off until it cools down again. now if i were up in fairbanks id probably have to leave the truck running and run the block heater. well it is suppose to get down to -45 tonight in fairbanks....but on the bright side it should warm up to -35 tomorrow for a high! im in anchorage but one of our staff in the fairbanks office called today and said she was cancelling her trip to a village tomorrow. circle city is usually a fair bit colder than fairbanks. scott .

thanks. ill take a look inside the door first then contact the dealer. sorry...that is if i remember correctly i had to get the tracks from the dealer...no one else had them iirc what is that is that where i can find one thanks. dodge uses a plastic track for the windows...yours sounds like it is shot. they are fairly inexpensive $50 iirc but they will charge you about 100 bills for labor. i did several on minivans etc. and they are fairly easy. takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. hello all. ive got a 99 durango and the front right window wont budge but im not sure of the problem i havent taken off the door panel just yet...figured id post the diagnosis here first. the window is in the up position good so this doesnt need to be a quick fix but something id like to get done and when i try to roll it down i can hear the motor start to mov

sounds to me like the motor isnt shot but that there might be something in the track or possibly something broke off inside it stopped working on a very cold day and i tried to roll it down and it got about 1/4 of the way down and i heard a snap. any ideas id like to fix it myself but havent had the time to remove the panel to investigate and see if it is something i can handle. thanks for any suggestions. . 222 296156 34h4qbf497hd3u1@individual.net sorry...that is if i remember correctly i had to get the tracks from the dealer...no one else had them iirc what is that is that where i can find one thanks. dodge uses a plastic track for the windows...yours sounds like it is shot. they are fairly inexpensive $50 iirc but they will charge you about 100 bills for labor. i did several on minivans etc. and they are fairly easy. takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. hello all. ive got a 99 durango and the front right window wont budge but im not sure of the problem i havent taken off the door panel just yet...figured id post the diagnosis here first. the window is in the up position good so this doesnt need to be a quick fix but something id like to get done and when i try to roll it down i can hear the motor start to move it but it doesnt move more than about 1/16. so it sounds to me like the motor isnt shot but that there might be something in the track or possibly something broke off inside it stopped working on a very cold day and i tried to roll it down and it got about 1/4 of the way down and i heard a snap. any ideas id like to fix it myself but havent had the time to remove the panel to investigate and see if it is something i can handle. thanks for any suggestions. .
