Q: follow tom did ya ever follow a drunk walking down the street -- budd pres. bush john kerry has changed his position on the iraq war so many times he could debate himself. b.c. and lose. tbone wrote yup typical. then he posts a statement compareing a boost increase on a blower. to a wastegate adjustment on a turbo. how exactly do you think you control the boost on a turbocharged engine roy come on you can look it up. maybeee ....... change the pulley size since you were commenting on over driving the blower you couldnt have been talking about a exhaust driven turbo which i dont think can be over driven so you must have been actually talking about a supercharger right. just trying to get it straight here so i can follow.............. jerry .

from daniel j. stern dastern@127.0.0.1 date 10/7/2004 1042 am central standard time on thu 7 oct 2004 jay wrote got a 96 dodge ram van 250. its a 3 speed no overdrive. i doubt that very much. are you sure theres not an o/d off button on the dashboard thats pressed and you just didnt notice it this may be one of those built for conversion cheapies the factories built specifically for conversion companies. why dodge used 3/4 ton vans is beyond me but they did equipped them with v6 engines and 32rh transmissions ie 3 speed auto a-904. the ones ive seen had 3.55 gears so his highway rpms shouldnt be too high. .

miles wrote kevin wrote i think monroe has discontinued the sensa trac and replaced it with the reflex. how long have you had the reflexs and are you just as satisfied with them as the last set when i bought my sensa-tracs last year they also sold the reflexs. the reflexs can also be bought under the rancho label as the rsxs. a lot of people get wide eyed when they learn monroe makes rancho. jerry .

bilsteins. thats the answer i got when i posed the question to a dodge safety engineer. those germans really know how to build shocks. they are a little more costly but have a lifetime warranty. bill-- i have a 98 dodge dakota and was wondering what kind of shocks i should get brand. i have been told by some that monroe and gabriel are 2 of the best but i have been told by others that they dont last long. i also read that it would be best to buy new oem shocks from a dealer because they should last the original warranty period or longer but they cost more than aftermarket shocks. i plan to run this truck until it dies so i want the shocks to last a good while. i only use it for going back and forth to work and the occasional side trip. i almost never go off road and if i do its just an open field or something. so anyway any help would be appreciated. cost doesnt matter i just need to know how actual drivers would rate them. thanks. kevin .

because everybody wants to be a lexicographer & wordsmith & punner & time-waster everybody would thus be vastly uninterested in thrashing this note. when i hear em/yall talking about the birdhouse or whatever ya call the large console latched thing in my 86 250 ram van covering the carb & air filter i am thus wondering about other silly names for various things that ive never heard for instance perhaps a steering wheel is playfully called ...helm or rudder or wheel or turning device or the place to temporarily enplace saw-off the semi-clever lock thing or the muffler might be called the silencer or the hollywood or the cut-outs or just a real dumb thing to annoy the neigbors with or the darkened window or sun-defender or the glove compartment is you dont get my exact idea but exact is not exactly the wide-open inquiry the glass area of a vehicle is called the greenhouse the slope of the windows on the side of a vehicle is called tumble-home the rear glass is called a back-lite the brits call the trunk the boot the brits call the hood the bonnet the stamped lines in a vehicles sheet metal are called character lines on antique fords its a reveal line. the neutral safety switch is called a prindle switch. the shift indicator on an automatic vehicle is called a prindle indicator for those wondering where it came from prindle comes from the common p-r-n-d-l automatic gear selector pattern. the upper front engine support on a fwd gm v-6 is called a dog bone thats all that come to mind at the moment but ill think of more chryco service manager member sae -- budd pres. bush john kerry has changed his position on the iraq war so many times he could debate himself. b.c. and lose. oh yeah ^.... on the old vee-dubs as in beetles the choke knob was der warmercougher the wipers were das drizzleflippen and the ashtray was der schmokegedunken ^ i got a million of em....... god speed rodney dangerfield mike .
