Q: miles wrote expense of the higher rated unit. paybacks on lower bills would have been too long for me. paybacks can take a while when upgrading. however as we have touched on previously money is not the only consideration in upgrading to more efficient technology. the higher the seer the more efficient the unit. that opens up many more possibilities. like running your home on solar panels or wind generators. if this type of alternative energy is not your bag and the power plant you are using burns coal a more efficient unit means less air and water pollutant. pollution is a hidden cost. you are paying for it whether you know it or not. craig c. .

hey wide ride! you folks doin okay was just watching the natl and they were talking about the interstate being all messed with water up as it went though your city. theres a helluva lota water running off around here. i got a tad bit over 7 of rain no wisecracks here!!!! out at the barn. ive never seen i75 closed before but it got closed this am. both side were covered with water right at bluffton. there were 15 miles of lines on the state routes to get around that mess. the worst of the storm hit about 10 miles north of me. glad to see your okay. i know rabbits dont swim well especially the wr kind. thats called floatation.... in your case sorta like a barge. kinda like when you jump in the ocean and a tidal wave hits england a few hours later.. that is caused from my swimming. im sure you have the machine high and dry. g i mean if ya get it messed up what will you and the idiot do during your next bonding session i guess if the idiot and me ever bond itll be with thoughts of you in our minds... hmmm.... that is sorta telling.vbg only if ya like it...... well you must ya brought it up.g hope like heck the weather clears a little tomorrow. a friend wants to go shooten with mr. garand mr. ar and mr. 500. not that i like to make alot of noise.... bg could be a expensive afternoon with all that ammo. have fun id have more fun if somebody would get off that ar that they dont shoot anymore...... vbg my oldest is talking about it. i dunno what ill do with any of them other than keeping the sig239 and s&w 60. the walther sig226 and s&w 686 im going to put on consignment when i go north in couple of weeks i think. the ar i dont know it is a real nice weapon i have probably 2 cases of fed american eagle for it a bunch of mags. harris bi-pod scope. i just dont know. i know i dont want to drag the safe down here. so ill probably end up giving to my kid along with the safe as a early wedding present. roy denny .

miles wrote snoman wrote hemis can be real gas hogs. engine with torque peaks above 4000 rpm are seldom their most efficent at lower rpms and this engine is one of them. bull! the 5.7l hemi gets better mpg than the weaker 5.9l it replaced along with considerably more power. ive owned both. bah dodge needs waste at least 100 hp in the automatic transmission to ensure proper regular boil-overs and failures. at least thats what my new-hemi owning friend used as an excuse when he couldnt run away from my lowly 318. it sure aint no 426. .

roy wrote azwiley1 wrote save your money and dont waste it on the pos k&n filter. all hype pure bullshit. the filters are junk but their cai is ok and can improve performance on some vehicles. however i prefer other brands such as airraid. for permanent filters i prefer wix or napa gold. huh maybe if the engine is modified and the speed is close to 100mph. uhm hold up... now if were talking 1st gen the air pickup is actually the hinge opening on the passenger side rear. this is where there is greater air pressure and therefore where the input air will come from when the truck is rolling... at full operation temperature on a hot day with the ac blasting and the pavement damn near boiling hot the input air temperature to the stock air intake system is insanely high ive recorded temps as high as 165f in the factory air duct at 70ish mph. itd be hard to get much worse than that. .
