i have a 04 dodge 1500 hemi with the mpg/temp computer overhead. lately ive noticed that when i drive less than 5-6 miles the mpg reading is lowlike 4-5 mpg. it stays that way for a long time also. a few weeks ago i filled it up with gashit the reset button and looked up to find it was reading 19.5 mpgs going from high to lower altitudes. is there an easy way to check this out to speed it up abet or reset it other than the reset button. if i disconnect the neg battery terminal will that do it .

btw did you vote are you old enough to vote are you even an american -- budd if it wasnt important enough for you to take time to vote then its not important to me to listen to you whine about who won or lost. the dumb shit had a conference this morning and could not even talk and for sure didnt answer any questions with anything other then daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa if he thought the last 4 years were work he had better take a long vacation now before he gets totally in over his head more than he is now...... budd cochran wrote in some ways you really cant blame the electorate. everyday of the campaign theyre bombarded by high dollar political ads designed and worded to hide truth while delivering a full package of lies if needed at the opponents and promises to never be kept. it could be said the way they manipulate emotions that political ads are the ultimate examples of media advertising. . . . and many people fall for them just like those that have to order the latest ronco pocket fisherman / ginzu knife / gps locater / engine hoist / julienne french fry cutter. but wait 4 years and well have 6 hour political infomercials. ^ .
