99 Dak: electric door lock

Q: hello gang recently my keyless entry fob when pressed would open the passenger side fine but the driver side would only come up half way...then on second hit come up the rest. i thought the battery was fading but it checks out...no corrosion or anything like that. now two weeks later when unlocking or locking with remote key or with the button inside the driverside will not go up or down. the passenger side is fine--and the honk too! i checked it for physical resistance with my fingers and they both seem the same...nothing binding on the drivers side. what gives er .
