98 Ram A/C pump clutch

Q: rattles like a crazy woman! i guess there is a bearing in there that needs replace. never messed with this problem before so any ideas would be great. i can grab the pulley and it will wiggle quite a bit . is there any way i can bypass the a/c pulley so it doesnt burn up the pump because i noticed it would really stink when it went bad at first really an odd smell but i hope i caught it in time it will still pump cold air when i first start it but i dont want to let it run much with the cluth like it is. thanks for any help -- message posted via http//www.carkb.com .
