i have personally always preferred dynomax/walker over the others. i dont think there is one that is best i have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 with a glass pack muffler. it is a single pipe in and dual pipe out glass pack muffler. i love the sound of it. the only problem is that when i am going down the road about 55 mph or above the rumble from the exhaust hurts your ears inside the truck. it seems like anytime the rpms are above 1500 the exhaust gets really loud. my question is if anyone knows another muffler will give me the same loud deep sound the glass pack muffler gives me without the loud rumble at high speed would a turbo muffler or masterflow work .

tom lawrence wrote would that go away when he slows down yep. thats the only way to get it to stop. trying to drive through it only makes it worse. i had this issue in my 95 and again on my 99 - though the 99 had it worse because of the lift/tires. on the 95 i just replaced the track bar with a new one. on the 99 i changed to a dt profab adjustable track bar that uses a heim joint rather than a ball joint. windecker machine makes a bracket to adapt the improved 2003+ track bar on the 1994-2002 rams. i dont know if its any better than the lukes link repair or other aftermarket bars but its another option. see http//ramchargercentral.com/index.phpaction=howtoshow;id=92 -- ken .

although it very well may be that a sucker is born every minute i say the rain-x is a great chemical to use. i had a 95 chevy van for a work truck a few years ago. the wipers on it were worthless at highway speeds. the wind would actually lift the wiper right off the windshield. i drove out to a customer one evening fifty miles in heavy rain. i could hardly see the wipers were so poor. before the trip back i stopped and applied rainx to the windshield. on the way back in similar rain i did not even use the wipers! the water would bead up and fly right up and off the windshield. i do not use rainx all the time but it sure worked well with the crappy wipers on that chevy van greg .

lol this is fairly minor compared to the crap that usually starts between us. its too bad that it has to start when i am trying to help someone but i expect nothing less form some in here. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving whoa...you two guys slow down. there is just a little more to the prime directive written after 2161 as i am sure the op knows. the prime directive dictates that there be no interference with the natural development of any primitive society chiefly meaning that no primitive culture can be given or exposed to any information regarding advanced technology or alien races. it also forbids any effort to improve or change in any way the natural course of such a society even if that change is well-intentioned and kept totally secret. john .
