97 Ram Cummins Diesel Idle Adjustment

Q: thanks steve you hit on my biggest problem... where did they put the adjustment screw! ive looked but i cant find it. thanks again fred... there is a screw under the lever this is hard to explain and even harder to see g at the back of the injection pump. you have to loosen the lock nut on the bottom and turn the screw head on the top. both take a 10mm wrench. all the while have someone hold the throttle wide open engine off of course to keep the lever out of your way. turn it counter clockwise on top to raise the idle. a quarter turn will make about a 200 rpm diff. be sure to tighten the lock nut back down to keep it in place. ill try to get a picture of this apparati tomorrow and send you a link to look at it. -- steve barker ========= can someone tell me how to adjust the idle on my 97 cummins diesel thanks.... .
