Q: nope but this particular vehicle appears to be a pos and the fault appears to be that of dc not the customer. how exactly do you figure that vehicle is a pos by the number and frequency of required repairs.. each item was fixed once. no frequency about it. the fact that dc keeps repairing it shows that they know it is not the customers fault. again rubbish. you know it and said as much to the op when you told him he was stretching it. simply put it is good business to just fix a problem rather than find blame for its cause. -- max give a man a match and he is warm for a short while. light him on fire and he is warm for the rest of his life. nope but this particular vehicle appears to be a pos and the fault appears to be that of dc not the customer. how exactly do you figure that vehicle is a pos by the number and frequency of required repairs.. the fact that dc keeps repairing it shows that they know it is not the customers fault. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

most any brand 2 to 4 channel amp will do you just find in this application. stay away from jensen and other wal-mart brands. i would not recommend anything that is more then about 50 watts per channel as you are only looking to run your speakers and not a sub. 50 will be clean and powerful enough. i have a 99 dodge ram quad cab with the infinity 6 speaker sound system 4 speakers/2 tweeters. the head unit is an am/fm/cd/cass 1.5 din with steering wheel controls. this system has an amp integrated in each front door speaker. the right front door speaker quit working. i swapped the right and left front door speakers and the problem followed the speaker so the hu or wiring is not my problem. i dont want to lay out $187.00 for a speaker to restore a factory sound system. its upgrade time. i want to keep the hu tweeters and rear speakers and replace the front door speakers with some decent aftermarket ones. i know the factory hu wont drive the system without adding an amp but im clueless about amps. i want to keep the cost reasonable for a clean sound quality at a moderate level. ill spend the money where i need to but i dont want to pay extra for a name on the box. new rear speakers and a sub will be added later so

stephen harding wrote ramman@dodgecity.cc wrote definitely the fuel economy. my sons friend just got a new 05 ram 1500 qc hemi. bright fire engine red and 20 wheels leather interior. sharp looking truck. around town he claims he gets between 10 and 12 mpg depending on how he drives. hes only 21 so you know its mostly around 10. what ever happened to the multi-displacement option that was going to be available on the hemis it was supposed to disable 2 or 4 cylinders when running at a stable cruise then cut all the cylinders back in when power was needed. talk was something like 30 mpg during the small displacement phase. ive heard nothing more about it. did it go the way of the older cadillac attempt smh only used in the cars. but we should be seeing it in the next year on the trucks according to the gurus in auburn hills anyway. denny yup! will be available in the dr 1500 series. mike .
