'96 Dakota still stalling

Q: there are four plugs from top to bottom.....does it show which one it is the plug colors are on the inside of the actual jack and not on the outside where you can see. figures... c1 is the one on top. this is a pain in the ^%&$#^^ since i have received responses with three different color choices. the info. i gave you came straight from the 2003 fsm. if youd like i can scan the relative pages and e-mail them to you. .

my first thought was idle control motor but youve repld that. did you overlook the pcv hows the fuel pressure replaced distributor cap rotor plugs idle air motor and battery and it still stalls. it idles around 300 rpm. any thoughts thanks .

have you checked the egr valve mine had carbon build up inside the valve and needed replacing. the service book shows valve replacement every 60000miles. when warm draw a vacuum on the top part of the valve and see if the valve stem opens. when you pull off vacuum hose from valve the engine should speed up and run better...just takes a minute to check out. .
