94 dodge caravan question

From : mike hollywood

Q: racemods performance module is a great way to add up to 20+ horsepower to your car truck or suv. it also provides torque increases up to 12 lb+/ft. as well as improvements in throttle response. hmmm... it is cheaper than a k$n. note that it says up to 20 horsepower. id bet more like 3hp if it fattens up the fuel mix. roy only $29.99 www.racemod.com .

i had chrome wheel well trims put on by the dealer when i bought the truck and dodge is not going to cover it. it was not a mopar part. dale if it was not a mopar part i can see why the company will do nothing. the dealer on the other hand should be held responsible for poor instalation. greg .

because the fluid in my pump is getting old and is about due for a change. do you know of any retail places here in nc in the raleigh area. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving hey nate where do you get your vacuum pump oil i buy it in bulk at johnstones here in billings. i buy in bulk because i change the oil in my vacuum pump after every usage as recommended by my vacuum pump manufacturer. this is why i attach a $5 vacuum pump charge each time i use it although most companies charge 15. why -- nathan w. collier http//inlinediesel.com http//7slotgrille.com http//utilityoffroad.com http//bighornrefrigeration.com .

nosey wrote tbone wrote yea it sounds like your new truck went for a swim before you bought it. the actual seats were probably replaces due to water damage along with the carpet. you might want to lift the carpet and look for damage on the floor boards as well. not necessarily. the seat brackets on my 99 are rusty too. the rust started shortly after i got it. im the first owner. i got it less than a month after it was built. its not severe rust yet just a uniform surface discoloration. same on my 98 and its never been swimming in its life! dont bring facts into this bone-head isnt interested in no steeeenking facts .

bruce grant wrote nonelson@sbcglobal.net says... wrote i have heard that the valves will hit the piston when a belt breaks but when i had my 3.0 it have notches in the pistons for valve clearance so i guess i dont understand unless my pistons were not what was standard in these engines. the 3.0 is not an interference engine. no bent valves. i disagree. i recently had the heads off of a 94 caravan that had snapped a belt and it had bent valves did you notice if it had any cut outs in the pistons i just had a 1989 3.0l apart and it had them thus making it a non interference eng .

bruce what kind of mess are you talking about being that this is not an interference engine bruce grant wrote kevin.vandehei@nojunksympatico.ca says... i assume you have the 3.0 mitsubishi in it. my parents have just under 300000 km on theirs. my wifes 96 with the same motor has about 285k. im not planning on changing either of them any time soon. kevin bad mistake kevin. have you ever seen the after effects of a broken belt on a 3.0 its ugly. i suggest that you change both of them in the very near future. .
