'94 Ram bad paint

From : zoso

Q: ya the roof is toast too. and the tops of the fenders arent far behind. thanks dodge. i have a black 94 ram 2500. about 2 years ago a small spot appeared on the hood where the clear coat was apparently wearing off. it has spread like cancer onto all of the horizontal surfaces of the truck. does anyone know of a recall for this problem or am i out a paint job. the sides of the truck look brand new. thanks for any replies. zoso i had the same problem on my 94 1500. it started with the hood which i had re-painted for $300 and the roof was starting to wear off when i sold it last summer. i dont think there was a recall issued and its doubtful youd get much help 11 years later. ron w. .

97 ram 1500 4x4 im needing the front axle shafts that go from the u-joint in. dodge dealer says they dont have any more and are looking for a new manufacture to make replacements. salvage yards only want to sell the whole axle assembly. any idea on where i can track some down -- get a free apple mini mac http//www.freeminimacs.com/r=14466563 .

as i traveled around this weekend i noticed a few guys at rest stops or travel centers who would leave there pickups idle while they ran in to take care of business. now i know that big rigs will leave there trucks on but i understand that when they do they crank up the rpms a hair. by not increasing the rpms and leaving your truck idle i heard its not to good on it. does anyone know the why also is there a length of time that would be acceptable/harmful to a diesel to idle .

jem wrote i have a 04 ram q cab with just the standard radio. i am in ct and the area is rather hilly. but..... some of the stations that formerly were received well in my other trucks are full of static. would a longer antenae mast cause the reception to get getter or is it just a lower quality radio jem its possible that dodge has been installing low quality german radios. many of the electrical components in their vehicles are now low quality german products. jam .

i think you can only buy 1 complete light. i epoxyed mine reinforced break with fiberglass. this morning i hit a patch of black ice spun sideways across the road into a snowbank. i broke off my passenger fog light. light still works. my question do i have to buy a new fucisa or can i just buy a new mounting bracket for the light the mounting bracket broke from around the light. thanks .
