`93 Dakota SunRoof

Q: hello; first time poster here. have a question regarding the power sunroof on the 93 dakota i just acquired. there are three buttons on the ceiling just above the rearview mirror that operate it. the forward one is marked asc and for the life of me i cannot figure out what its purpose is. when toggled to the right the exposed side of the switch shows red. the center switch opens to the back or flips up the rear and the top rearward switch closes and locks the thing no matter what position the roof is in. i do not have an owners manual for this rig. but if one of you does i am sure it will give some info on it even if you do not have the sunroof option. any help would be appreciated. thanks. -- from the desk of jesse a. harrington .
