Q: just got back from an oil change on my durango and noticed the dealer forgot to put the oil filter cover back. i had to go back and the technician unwillingly went to the garage and brought it out. i know its just a stupid plastic cover but the next week i am having both differentials serviced and my confidence is shot. how often do these experts forget to put the parts back how common is this do i need a six star dealer lac hmm what do you do for a living and what kind of mistakes do you make or can you turn your pencil over and erase yours or back space over them. .

just got back from an oil change on my durango and noticed the dealer forgot to put the oil filter cover back. i had to go back and the technician unwillingly went to the garage and brought it out. i know its just a stupid plastic cover but the next week i am having both differentials serviced and my confidence is shot. how often do these experts forget to put the parts back how common is this do i need a six star dealer lac i dont have an answer but heres what i do. when having work done at the dealer i ask the service dood if i could meet the technician working on my truck. they never have said no. i usually say something like this is my baby do you understand what im saying and they usually say sure do mister ill treat her right. i rarely have a problem with the techs. and if i do they know and i know im gonna be naming names. and handing the tech a six-pack will assure that he will remember you for when you come in the next time. find a tech you like and request him every time you come in. denny yeah just avoid the ones with pink bunny suits and floppy ears! ;^ mike .
