Q: can anyone tell me what the purpose of this tiny insignificant jack is supposed to be i finally took it out from underneath the passenger-side seat and couldnt believe what i saw! i almost laughed my head off at dodge for even thinking of placing such a useless piece of hardware in such a truck. m2cw hawkeye65 ive used mine on one occasion and it worked as intended thank you very much! your point is mike there is no way that this jack could even reach the jacking point on my truck let alone raise it any! that is my point hawkeye65 ok remove it from the truck and extend it to its maximum length and measure the length of the jack and report back. i will check the specs and see if its extending as fully as designed. mike .

big al wrote this makes about ten pack rat repairs on my vehicles in the last three years. no more mister nice guy i need to get serious and get rid of them. they got another car of mine three times and i still havent found the last problem in it. this is the second time they got this truck in the last month. first time they ate the wires off the temperature sender for the ecm. probably a gang of teenage packrats. you know how they act when they get together. especially bad if they know the law cant do anything to them until theyre over 18! smh i set 4 traps last night. nothing. guess i should go buy a dodge wiring harness for bait al .
