i have had this vechicle for 7yrs now running it everyday small trips. this van at one time ran on propane you can tell by the way the connections are wearing. since last post i retrieved the codes faults from smec used on off methodsurprised it worked. 37 part throttle unlock solenoid circuit and a 52 oxygen sensor which i already have changed. where and what is that 37 part. i did clean the one solenoid block though did not check it electrically yet. thanx semper fi .

on tue 25 may 2004 strongback wrote first timer here. i have a problem with my dodge van. it starts up fine and idles rough surges smooths out then surges again etc... sounds like a vacuum leak or a stuck-open egr valve. checked inline feul filter er...howd you check this adjusted throttle bolt thought it helped throttle bolt no such part...which bolt are we talking about pulled egr valve off cleaned metal port that was obstructed probably more obstruction between the valve pintle and its seat holding the valve open and causing your problem. reinstall the egr valve start the engine let it idle badly and remove the vacuum hose from the egr valve. if the engine idle then returns to normal your vacuum connections arent properly routed. next apply vacuum use fresh hose and your mouth to the egr valve. if the idle doesnt change much or at all replace the egr valve. this van at one time ran on propane you can tell by the way the connections are wearing. not sure i understand you here...which connections how are they wearing whaddya mean since last post i retrieved the codes faults from smec used on off methodsurprised it worked. 37 part throttle unlock solenoid circuit and a 52 oxygen sensor which i already have changed. where and what is that 37 part. torque converter lockup clutch solenoid open or short disconnected or your particular vehicle does not have a lockup torque converter. -stern .
