76 ramcharger door wont open
From : sunmac
Q: sunmac wrote suddenly after never having trouble with the doors my drivers door wont open with outside or inside buttons or handle. ive taken the inside panel off and can see it all is moving but no door open. do any have and idea how i can get it open short of c4 so i can get and replace the latch piece. love the beast and was getting it up to where i could travel a bit with it show off when this happened. any help would be appriciated. thanks sunmac other than frame trouble i cant think of any reason why the door wont open if the inside mechanism is working properly. try jacking some of the weight of the truck up on the frame under the drivers door. if that doesnt help or if you get no other suggestions here try posting the question at www.ramchargercentral.com . .

i agree with miles. change the gas cap. and to clear the check engine light unhook the battery for for bout a minute. if it comes back after that then there is definitely a leak in your lines somewhere. maybe replace the lines just so you know that there isnt any leaks. good luck with that. .

i dont have much experience but i just replace my vacuum hoses on my 97 because it wasnt workin at all. you might just have a bad connection in the hoses. i would suggest for what its worth to check all your connections and recheck and tighten them all down just to make sure. if all else fails take it to your mechanic. .
