66 Dodge 3 speed tranny

Q: im beginning my search for a replacement transmission for my 66 dodge a100 pick-up. close to s.e. virginia would be good very reasonably priced would be better. ive got growling in 1st gear clutch in or out. quiet as you please in 2 & 3. im thinking ive got bad bearings on that shaft. no. im sure its not the throw-out bearing or the u-joint. thanks -- j. dan jones iii virginia peninsula car club council vintage chevrolet club of america #41139 corvair society of america tidewater corvair club steel city classics .
