Q: findings sludge buildup after 50to60 thousand miles. source seems to be under the air intake manafold. i have heard there is a problem with cracks developing in the air intake manafold allowing infusion of airie increase temps. then flakes of carbon particles. this stops up the oil pump. is there any validity to this how do you check an air intake manafold for cracks .
