tbone wrote how stupid can you possibly be. yes its worth going but if the area is deadly and they dont have the equipment to deal with it then they should not go in. i see. on 9/11 nobody knew what the dangers were. weve never had a disaster such as this to even go by. so how long after the 9/11 attacks do you feel it would take to get all the studies done and proper procedures in place in order for the workers to go in delay days weeks months what tom unbelievable you are sitting here saying the workers should have stayed away until sufficient information was gathered to know all the dangers and what equipment was needed and get all that together. im not talking about that miles and you know that. i was talking about sending our men and women to iraq with no real proof of anything. you brought up 9/11 emergency workers and rice hiding information that the area was dangerous. keep up with your own argument tom. geez. they got there when they got there. the report came out in less than a day of the possible dangers and was altered to make the site look as safe as possible which any way you try and spin it was a fucking lie. the day old report was an idea and nothing more. no data was collected analyzed and studied. it was a comment about a possibility not proof as you seem to claim. there were people in the rubble. emergency crews are going to show up no matter what. then you would know that this is an old comment yes i know your use of foul language and name calling in an argument is old! how many people do you think were rescued miles what difference does that make there were several rescued on 9/11 both inside the towers before they fell and after from the rubble. what are you saying it was too few people to bother more spin and complete bullshit. assessments are made on the spot and if information becomes available that things may be worse than they appear changes are made immediatly. that is true. the emergency crews did their own analysis and made adjustments. information was hidden from those that need to make those decisions bull!! nypd and nyfd do not rely on government to come out to an emergency site to tell them how to improve their job. they do those assements themselves. they are the ones with the experience to make such judgements. they tell government what it is they need. then there was no reason to remove the warnings from the report so why did she do it. because there was no proof. no data was taken from the site and analyzed. it was basically from one persons opinions. more like a maybe. you are the one that demands not doing something without proof. sorry miles but this is just your biased moronic spin talking now. if there are highly likely dangers when a commercial airliner hits a building of course the area is going to be a dangerous place!! beyond that nobody knew exactly what. they were talking for the next two months back and forth about the air quality. some tests showed fine others showed a problem. they really did not know. any disaster site has dangers. katrina created very dangerous conditions to work in. the filth in the water caused horrible air quality. yet workers went in anyways from day 1. the extent of the hazards were not known for quite some time afterwords. .
