Q: no larry youre not k/fd. in the past ive done nothing more than he has done in this thread and been ripped for it time and time again. that is laughable but that was then this is now. so you change the rules figures. add to that that ive been warned by him and others about religious content in my threads and what will happen if i do. judge me by the same rules you use for others if you dare. that seems only fair to me. but it wont happen budd -- posted via a free usenet account from http//www.tera.com .

ed i bought the car used. it doesnt have a manual. i truly dont see how the manual would help even if i had one though. its not a matter of me pressing the wrong switches. i did make a typo indeed but i dont think you understand the gist of this problem in any case. ill try to elaborate. the problem is that the switches are not working as one would anticipate them to be. the lights all worked fine until a few days ago i point out once again. do you ever drive at night if you do normally youd turn on your headlights and have no interior lights on unless you intentionally turned them on. in my case that is no longer possible. i can only drive with the interior lights off to be clear if i slide the dimmer switch to the extreme left or if i would take out the light bulbs. in order to see my gauges lit for night driving i would need to slide the dimmer switch to the right but if i do that the interior lights come on. is that clearer it may not be but its a strange little problem. i just thought that maybe this was a common or semi-common glitch with this sort of auto. ive checked the doors to see if the light switches are all making contact with the doors and they are. ed h. wrote i dont mean to be a smart ass but have you read the owners manual i think you have a very mis-leading typo in your 3rd paragraph because you state the the interior lights remain off i think you meant on but also say that the interior lights always want to remain on when the headlights are on; a contradiction if took me a few re-readings to figure out. anyway if reading the manual doesnt provide the answer i would look for a selector switch on the interior or dome light. hi everyone. my first post. a few days ago my 4 year old son was playing with some buttons on my old caravan. he got scared when the emergency blinkers started blinking. now im not sure this is not justa coincidence but ever since that incident and i dont know what all else he was pressing or how he was pressing ive had a strange problem with my lighting system. when i put the headlights on and slide the dimmer slider just a tad to the right the interior lights come on and stay on. if i press the switch for the interior lights whilst the headlights are on the headlinghts will shut off but the interior lights will stay on. if i turn the headlights on and push the dimmer to the extreme left i can only get a faint glow from my gauges but the interior lights remain off. in other words the interior lights always want to be on when the headlights are on. the hazard lights work normally it seems. it is very frustrating. i think my only option is to take out the light bulbs in the dome lights for night driving. am i being somewhat clear with my description can anyone adivse many thanks. g if you slide your dimmer switch to the extreme right the dome lamps will come on.... that is a feature of the vehicle! mike .

well yall almost lost a poster yesterday... ive been on vacation tasmania for the curious and the trucks been sitting quietly here at home. fortunately i was in a parking lot when the huntsman spider 1 whod taken up residence under the hood crawled out to hide behind the drivers side mirror! it wasnt the biggest spider ive ever seen perhaps 4 across but pretty damn big when ones peripheral vision and primitive instinct registers it! nearly had a heart attack and did come to a screeching halt i was going all of 5mph until i realized it was outside the window... 1 http//www.amonline.net.au/factsheets/huntsmanspiders.htm huntsman spiders are large long-legged spiders measuring up to 15 cm 6 across the legs. damn!!! and to think that i thought ole roy was ugly....... damn! my feelings are injured.vbg roy im glad it was you....id have shit myself.....i hate spiders.... denny .

on feb 13 630 am miles n...@nopers.com wrote azwiley1 wrote i would like to see your proof as to where in cali or colo that they get 9 of snow dont say in the mountains because if you do you are comparing apples to dolly parton because now you would be throwing in a variable that would be impossible to duplicate. so it has to be low lying cities only or the heavy snows dont count almost all of the cities that get snow in ca or co are in the mountains. it doesnt snow much in the deserts! ok compare the eastern mountain towns. no comparison to the west there either. hell even flagstaff az. averages more snow than buffalo ny. first i doubt seriously that flagstaff averages more sound per year then buffalo. if you have something that proves it please post it. second how can you legitimately compare snow levels of mountains that sit at 12k or higher in some cases to areas that sit only a few k above sea level but lets talk about it after doing some quick searching on the web i have not found one city including denver that has reported that much snow over a winter. lets continue to talk about high cities if they get that kind of snow that you claim they do why is it that they have to completely shut down like denver has had to do this year they only had a few feet over generally the same amount of time as what has hit ny yet ny hasnt shut down like denver has. want to know why becuase ny is used to getting snow like that all the time and is always prepared for it. areas like you mention do not get snow like that and when they do get hit with a bad storm it is always a problem. .

on feb 12 256 pm stephen harding smhardin...@msn.com wrote azwiley1 wrote ahhh dont wast your money my not bluetooth phone has voice command. plus the nhtsb says hands free devices make no difference. its the talking on the phone and not paying attention to whats going on thats the danger. but the marketing is good odd some states are trying to make talking on a cell phone illegal. but hands free is okay.- hide quoted text - roy you are correct. what they are trying to do is get your hands back on the wheel and eyes hopefully back on the road that is why it is becoming illegal in states. what this guy is talking about iirc is a report that has been put out on the street that talking on the phone hands free or otherwise is dangerous and a root cause for a lot of accidents. also since not all cells have built in speakers well maybe they do and those that do the speaker isnt always that good bluetooth is a great way to go if you have to use your phone in your vehicle. but the studies all seem to say it doesnt matter much whether youre using the phone via hand or via mike/ear. that might be true for those that were studied and i am not going to agrue the facts however if we are going to study things like this why not all the other things that are a distraction/hinderance to driving. examples putting on make-up eating/drinking like you mentioned the radio watching video navigation systems changing clothes laying down laying on the passenger seat i personally think/feel that i would rather have someone on a hands free cell call or on-star system then the little pants around my ankles punk ass kid in a 4x4 dodge laying down behind the steering wheel. something about the human mind being not as focused on its surroundings when speaking electronically versus someone right next to you. i would say that this is the same affliction that effects those listening to music bouncing around in their seat vice driving. of course a person right next to the driver has the same or close to the same situation awareness as the driver so maybe that helps too. this is a very good point and could be true as the passenger doesnt likely want to die just caught a blurb on the . conn. has been writing tickets for $100.00 for using a cell phone while driving. .
