2004 RAM 1500 Quad cab w/Hemi

Q: does anybody have this problem - i hear a tick from the motor - like an exhaust tick continuously when its running idle. took it to the dealer - but they claim there is nothing wrong with it though they do hear the tick. they claim its normal. im concerned there is something wrong with the motor. the sound has been there since the first day. ive 3500 miles on it. hope somebody out there has an explanation. .

i have the tick in my 04 dur & my 04 2500hd 4x4 lb both the hemi. i have not inquired as of yet because the dur has 2500 mi & the ram has 1800 mi. does anybody have this problem - i hear a tick from the motor - like an exhaust tick continuously when its running idle. took it to the dealer - but they claim there is nothing wrong with it though they do hear the tick. they claim its normal. im concerned there is something wrong with the motor. the sound has been there since the first day. ive 3500 miles on it. hope somebody out there has an explanation. .
