Q: honestly im not too worried about it. so you dont run any type of lubricity additive the conoco fuel station down the road says it includes lubricity additive in the fuel but when i travel i wont always have access. if its not necessary i dont want to go through the trouble. if it is something i have to worry about id rather just trade up to a low sulpher diesel. -- nathan in montana http//concealedcarryforum.com http//1911talk.com http//glockcarry.com .

ks wrote what could a harness cost i hadnt checked myself yet but many parts for a 91 are impossible to find they made changes before & after that year. i couldnt get a belt tensioner/idler pully 5 years ago - a mechanic rigged one up from parts from 2 other models. the only way i would want the truck is with a carb & ignition system i can fix myself. we bought an 87 dakota when they first came out and had to get a 91 with club cab when our son was born. drove it for 240000 miles and had a cracked block. should have gotten a new engine but bought an 03 dakota that my wife now drives every day. well the guy i sold the 91 to had a new block put in and repainted it. drove great for 4 years but now has problems with the computer wiring harness and might sell or trade it back to me. since we dont need emissions checked on 91 vehicles here i was wondering how much work it would be to rip that computer out of the truck and drive it for another 15 years. since its a 318 i should be able to find a manifold & carb. would i have to get another transmission since its controlled by the computer the trannys not %100 anyway. what are my non-electric tranny choices .

bought a 01 ram 1500 from my daughter paid off her note. she bought it new then later incorporated the truck note as part of consolodation loan. i never owned a dodge product before. she took good care of it. vehicle has 92k on it. has the v6 in it auto tranny. the original owners manual is in the glove box who puts gloves in there. ill be taking regular 5 mile trips to work and back everyday. the manual has 2 sets of maintenance guides depending on the mileage you put on it on daily basis. one glaring difference is changing the lube in the rear axle much more often for low mileage daily driving. she says shes never had it changed. whats up with that regarding the axle lube stuff dave .

the more i consider trading up the more i like the truck that i already have 2005 dodge 3500 cummins 4x4 dually w/48re http//inlinediesel.com/trucks/3gen/1/index.html .....but i really want to add an exhaust brake and need to know what my options are with links were applicable to include the controller. i really like the way you can simply turn it on in the 07 dodge rams and have it engage as soon as you release the accelerator pedal. is this the same on the aftermarket models or do you manually have to turn it on and off while braking what options do i have here jacobs says it cannot be done on an 05. thanks -- nathan in montana http//concealedcarryforum.com http//1911talk.com http//glockcarry.com .

so will this rust contribute to component failure sooner than normal im assuming its a coating or something on the driveshaft thats rusting and not the actual driveshaft on thu 31 may 2007 034742 gmt tom lawrence tnloaswpraemnmcien5g@earthlink.net wrote but maybe some of you dodge fans can aleviate some of my fears....am i right to be concerned or is this just a dodge thing its normal. heres a picture from my truck maybe 6 months old http//home.earthlink.net/tlawren349/at/hangers.jpg yes you can see this on all brands with a steel alloy driveshaft. the alloy used in them is very prone to surface rust. it is actually rare to find one that is not. ----------------- thesnoman.com .
