Q: come on someone must have some suggestions here i know that there are a few model years from 96 to 99 or later that had this same problem ... hi ive got a 97 ram 1500 and the top part of the front bumper is supposed to be black but it is so faded that it looks like its grey now. i know that all of these trucks have the same issue so there must be something that can bring the color back. what are people using to fix this thanks. greg please reply to the email address as well if you dont mind. .

must be causing a lot of dust to collect on your front teeth as well. the funniest thing i ever saw was when i delivered some jute filled firing pads and fresh targets to a pistol range at camp atterbury in while in the national guard. there was this big ol rotc cadet from a local high school getting a chance with his squad to fire some real army weapons under very close supervision! and the young man tried to fire a 5 round set from an army colt 45 with locked elbows. round 3 went at a 35 degree angle to the horizon #4 at 45 and #5 was darn near vertical. after he got dressed down by his co i heard him whine about his shoulders hurting . . . . ill bet he was copying the stance of some hollywood hero. eastwood always had his elbows too stiff. budd the most ive shot mine at any one time is 15 rounds and yes my arm was getting a little tired. im fairly accurate for the 1st five shots and then i start spreading them out a bit. i have absolutely no use for this gun other than to say i have one and to go play now and then. im not much of a hunter and there aint no grizzly bears in ohio but its kinda like do you really need that hemi in the anglea g my favorite is my p95 ruger. i can shoot for approx 10 cents a round and its fun to shoot. i think my next toy is gonna be a model 1 american derringer. im curious how a .45 acp/.410 is gonna feel in that little gun. denny youre not locking your elbows with that beast are you hold them firm but slightly bent so some of the recoil is absorbed before it gets to your shoulders. budd nope. i shoot that gun from the weaver stance with the elbows bent. and the funny thing is that after each shot i find the corners of my mouth are stretched out towards my ears till it hurts. i cant figure this one out yet. denny .

in my opinion the best gun is the one you like to shoot the best. i havent fired dennys 500 yet didnt want to make him look bad . . but ive shot a handloaded 45 mag i think the owner of the gun was after flying saucers still in orbit and smaller and i like something from .357 mag to .44 myself with the .357 preferred for defense. budd steve@carolinabreezehvac steve@removethis.carolinabreezehvac.com wrote steve@carolinabreezehvac steve@removethis.carolinabreezehvac.com wrote steve@carolinabreezehvac steve@removethis.carolinabreezehvac.com wrote ask denny. ask the man that knocks down mountains with one. vbg budd rabbit boy has a 500 oh...this years hunting season just got even...lol go ahead. just one more freaken rabbit joke and ill see what kind of range this thing has... bg ive put about a hundred rounds thru it so far and it really satisfies the urge for hi-power. a guy i work with acquired this old chevy truck with an i-6 motor that was seized. i had to do it. using 440 grain hard cast with 34 grains of h4227 powder the shot would go thru one side of the block but would not come out the other side. i got 12 rounds loaded with 37.0 grains which is the max load and cant wait to try it again. if all else fails i got an old neon block to try. as ole johnny holms used to say it tiss a handful..... denny bought another taurus 357 today...guy came into the gun store and was trading it while i was looking at a taurus 45 semi.. had some hammer and spring work done to it and its the sweetest pulling taurus i have ever seen...the owner has a 500...and hes a big fella..says he cant fire it more than 4 or 5 rounds at a time before its hurting.....i dunno if i want to pull back on a 500 and let it rip..more of a toy to say you have one than anything else...the 44s are big enough for me.. hes got a new super blackhawk there too...stainless sight mount barrel...ash grey grips...incredible lookin piece..but the wife is gonna be mad enough over the 357..lol..gonna pick it up in the morning...might even have to go out back and try both 357s at the same time ... the most ive shot mine at any one time is 15 rounds and yes my arm was getting a little tired. im fairly accurate for the 1st five shots and then i start spreading them out a bit. i have absolutely no use for this gun other than to say i have one and to go play now and then. im not much of a hunter and there aint no grizzly bears in ohio but its kinda like do you really need that hemi in the anglea g my favorite is my p95 ruger. i can shoot for approx 10 cents a round and its fun to shoot. i think my next toy is gonna be a model 1 american derringer. im curious how a .45 acp/.410 is gonna feel in that little gun. denny my old man has on order a 380...cant recall who makes it...right off...but its supposed to be in today and if thats the case gonna take the 44 out and run a few boxes though it...gotta love living in the county.... might have to hit the store again today...see what kinda toys hit the shelves in the last 48... .

i rotate/bal every 6000 miles. have had a set of four tires last up to 50000 miles. never had the front tire problem when i owned small rice burner trucks back in the 70s. only when i started owning full size pickmeups did i notice the necessity of rotating to avoid the front set from self-destructing. tom .

ramman@dodgecity.cc wrote well yes they all do it if you dont rotate your tires often enough. in fact if you dont rotate at least every 10k miles youll end up ruining the front tires causing them to become out of round and cupping. the first time my 97 my first experience owning a pickup chewed up its front tires at 21k miles the dealership said the tires were bad duh.. but couldnt offer any help because the new vehicle tire warranty was only 12k miles. i took it in to a front-end shop because i just knew there had to be something wrong to have caused that. but alignment was fine. however the guy at the front-end shop told me something my dealership didnt. he said with any full-sized pickup that because of the very uneven weight distribution you need to rotate your tires at every other oil change to avoid this problem. ive been following his advice for the last 6 years and had no more problems. i understand this . but my truck has done it since new. i rotate the tires every 5k miles. i even have a new set of tires and the truck still does it. my problem isnt as bad as the original posters is. but when i drive down the highway if anyone in the truck is talking their voice vibrates. try talking and pounding your chest at the same time. thats what i mean. this is not normal. but dodge has never fixed it. i find it very hard to believe that all dodge trucks do it. bob .

on fri 24 sep 2004 202953 -0600 bob bobcowan@access4less.net wrote snip check the ratings on the bumper and in the owners manual. as long as youre not exceeding them go for it. the only problem is that the bumper on a 4x4 can be a little high for some trailers. i dont know if id feel safe using one but they sell an adapter for 4x4s thats a hitch for the ball on the bumper that has a 4 or 5 drop and then another ball... mac .
