2004 Dodge Dakota Sports Plus - V8 Magnum - 5w-20

From : none

Q: hi i just purchased a 2004 dodge dakota sports plus with a v-8 next generation magnum and was wondering if anyone was using 5w-20 oil in their engine i noticed a couple of articles for 2005 dodge dakota trucks that mention theyre using 5w-20 so would it be safe using 5w-20 in my 2004 dakota im using the truck for long distance driving without towing and would appreciate even a 0.5 mpg increase. does anyone know of any differences between the 2004 and 2005 engines that would make me stick with 5w-30 vs 5w-20 in a 2004 v8 thanks -- linux 2.6.7-rc2-mm2 #2 sun jun 6 104304 utc 2004 i686 051531 up 74 days 1154 11 users load average 0.14 0.13 0.09 .
