i have a 1996 dodge b250 conversion van. it has ride control air shocks that have gone bad. several mechanics have indicated that heavy duty spring over shocks are a better replacement. i pull a camper with this van. what are your thoughts .

i have a 97 dodge ram 1500 pioneer radio sat/read with no amp and a sirous tuner. i cant even listen to the am due to alot of background noise. i noticed that when i start traveling above 45 mph the noise somewhat disipates but when i start slowing down or stop it comes back. the noise is more noticeable on certain channels. i was able to get rid of this problem a few weeks ago but now it all of a sudden apeared again. also when i plug my cell phone into my cigarette lighter and charge it it also makes background noise both on fm and am. the noise does not get worse or get louder when i step on the gas. it remains about the same whether im on the gas or not. also when listening to fm i can hear a tiny bit of background noise especially when listening to talk radio. when listening to the sirius tuner its as clear as day with no noise what so ever. i just changed the plugs. any suggestions .

im sure the window will stop a bullet. i traded that gas hog off last week. i now have a 2005 jeep liberty. gonna be looking for a 97 - 99 dakota 2wd 3.9l as soon as i get my wifes 99 buick sold. she got possession of the jeep. i really liked the way the ram drove. i drive 20 miles one way to work now. gas bill was getting out of hand. ed dowdy the safety aspect of the auto door locks far out weigh any inconvienance they cause. a friend of mine was car jacked at a red light in dallas one night driven to east side beaten up and left for dead fortunately he survived. if he had had auto door locks or if he had remembered to hit the locks he would not have been assaulted. duane on sat 12 feb 2005 180359 gmt edward l. dowdy eddowdy@ctsihatespamcomp.com wrote my doors lock automatically at a preset speed. this drives me nuts. mainly because i forget to unlock when i walk around to get in the rear door on the opposite side... is there a way to disable this feature ed .

just bought a 2003 4.7l dodge ram with 60k miles. it used a quart of oil in the first 1000 miles i put on it. should i be concerned i bought a chrysler extended warranty so i am thinking about taking it in to the dealer and having them check it out. however i suspect they will say it is normal and i will end up wasting my time. anybody have experience with high oil consumption on the 4.7l engine ive got an 03 ram with the 4.7. im changing my oil every 3 months which is only at about 1500 miles as per the severe duty interval and my engine is not using any oil. i only have about 10k on it though. hd that really is just wasting money. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

i have spent the last two days removing a dialer from my computer. all seems quiet and it hasnt reappeared. i believe that i picked it up at a web site. that web site is set as my home page in ie. i change it but it keeps coming back. does anyone have an idea as to what keeps changing it back the only way that i dare use ie is to open it through a link in an email in outlook express. beekeep you probably have some sort of spy ware that is hi jacking the page. run spy bot or ad-aware and see if that does the trick. or hi jack this a bit more work but gets it done. they are mostly freebies at www.download.com roy .
