Q: fuses are ok. i still have to make more electrical checks. ot you didnt mention if you had checked all your fuses ... especially any associated with the computer. but the fuel pump should be hard wired rather than going through the computer so first steps would be fuse check and looking for some sort of injury to the wiring harness rodent lunch by tracing the fuel pump wiring back through the harness looking for a cut. you may find other damage in that area rodent munch causing the computer issues as well. the truck has the following problems 1. fuel pump has no voltage going to it. 2. tact does not jump up when engine is cranked. 3. check engine light does not come on. the truck is a v6 with fuel injection. anyone got any ideas on what the common problem may be ot .

since nobody was able to help with the computerized approach i pulled out the wiring diagrams. i decided to remove the fog lamp relay and install a fused jumper to the fog lamps from an unused run circuit fuse. now i have the fog lamps on as my drls. a clean solution that can be reversed in under a minute. sounds like a good idea. do the fog lights stay on when you switch the headlights to high-beam .

the fog lamps are on regardless of the high beam low beam or parking lights. they come on when the ignition switch is in the run position. the circuit is off during starting and in the accessory position. on wed 13 aug 2003 184618 -0400 nosey kfrei43@removethis.hotmail.com wrote since nobody was able to help with the computerized approach i pulled out the wiring diagrams. i decided to remove the fog lamp relay and install a fused jumper to the fog lamps from an unused run circuit fuse. now i have the fog lamps on as my drls. a clean solution that can be reversed in under a minute. sounds like a good idea. do the fog lights stay on when you switch the headlights to high-beam .
