i think you clipped the part where he said he was going to put 3.11 rears in it to reduce the rpms at cruise and still get 122 hp which would be enough to tote a modest load up a hill. modest indeed. regarding the gear change the original question was what engine would be swapped in. changing gearing etc. poses a whole new set of variables. max life liberty and the pursuit of any jackass that threatens it. embellished usnavy slogan .
