you need to confirm which system is failing first. i would look toward the ignition as the source of your problems. when it dies check it for spark. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving hi group-- hello! been away for while need some advice... my 82 w150 318 2 bbl 105k miles ran out of gas a while back. filled er with gas changed the fuel filter and went on my way. truck died after running 15 minutes. replaced the fuel pump check the line between the carb and the pump--was clean. truck will fire right up cold but dies still after 15 minutes. let it sit a while starts up dies after 15 minutes. any ideas where to start looking for the problem maybe someone pulled a prank and wired a timer in-line some where! thanks! cordobaman .
