2002 Durango Issues

tbone wrote that pretty much sums up any thread trying to justify the political philosophies of any party dems repubs or libs or whatever. in fact it may do a pretty fair job of describing govt. in general. on this i feel that we sadly agree. im a craig-o-crat. folks that belong to a party and are straight party voters are doing this country a disservice. period. and on this we most fully agree. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

roy wrote no but i dont understand how anybody can support these folks. how can you support the dems i can understand not liking what the reps offer. then what choice does he or anyone else have trouble is the dems offer even less. more right wing spin. they havent offered any solutions to any issue. none. sure they have you just dont want to see it. all i know is what the dems are against not what they are for. because sometimes that is all that is needed. if the problems are being caused by something that the reps are doing being against it means that they are going to stop it and that is all that needs to be done. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving .

freppi wrote ok i checked the switch attached to the break pedal. that part is the break like switch. it made no difference to the cruise control problem. i removed it totally and still had the same problem. if you disconnected the switch then it would look like you had the pedal depressed all the time causing the cruise to shut off. so im not surprised it made no difference. is this a manual tranny by chance same issue could be with the clutch pedal switch. cruise will shut off if the computer thinks either pedal is depressed. the switches are normally open and are held closed when the pedal is not depressed. unplugging he switches harness opens the circuit so it will appear as if the pedal is depressed. .

there is a release button next to where the arm slides on the the splined rod that goes into your cowl. just pick your wiper arm up. once you press or pull that i cant remeber which they should slide off. depending on how long theyve been on there . lol. i am a non-mechanic. how do i remove the wiper arms on an 87 dodge 100 pickup the wipers have disconected from the motor motor still spinng away and i need to get under the cowling thingy to see about reattaching them. thanks for any help thomer .

if the computer was somehow preventing the converter from locking it could cause an overheat condition. so how did the older non-lockup transmissions ever survive especially us old guys having hot read fast cars with high stall converters... .
