i just bought an 89 dodge ram g250 extended van. it runs great and aside from a little rust on the door bottoms and a few other minor repairs its in excellent condition. but there is a bigger problem. on the passenger side the front section of the frame is all rusted leaving little metal left. the rust starts at the coil spring and goes up to the front bumper. because of this deteriorated frame the front torsion bar is no longer attached to anything and bangs around all the time. i fear that the coil spring will soon break away if i dont repair this. the problem is how i can weld but making something fit in there is beyond me. the frame is fine from the rear of that coil spring to the back and on the drivers side. i just need this 3 foot section. aside from finding a junk yard that has the part is there any place where i can order new frame sections i assume the body shops must have a place where they can get things like this but where does anyone know you will need to get this piece from a junk yard as this is where a body shop would also get it. who cares where it comes from a

From : snoman
mac davis wrote that might cover a starter system that youd hate larry.. $15k will buy some nice equipment and get you well on the road to eliminating your electric bill depending on usage. my brother in ca is having a $60k system put in but after rebates and tax credits he figures that the net will be about $35k... unless your brother lives in a mansion with huge electric needs he is getting ripped off. his system doesnt use batteries and they add to the cost and take up space in tx a $60k system has batteries hybrid wind/solar setup with a gas/natural gas generator backup and it is off the grid on a normal sized home. a grid-tied system is *easy* to implement. little or no maintenance and theyre fairly cheap too $10k to get started and add panels as you can afford it if you are willing to do some of the work on your own. larry strikes me a doyr hed get off to a great start with $10-12k and could add panels little by little after that provided he purchases a nice sized inverter $3k - $5k. craig c. .

the drain is plugged up and what you are seeing is the condensation from the ac evaporator coil. im not sure where it is on the dakota but i would guess that it is on the passenger side firewall down close to the bottom. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving hi i have a 2002 dodge dakota 4x4 truck and when ever i use the air conditioner the passenger side floor gets saturated. a friend of mine thought it might be the heater coil but it appears to be just water on the floor. no smell or sign of antifreeze. can someone tell me why this is happening and how i can fix it thank you. .
