Q: hey tom do you know if the steering wheel from the 98 will fit the 97. -- if at first you dont succeed youre not cut out for skydiving need help with my 97 ram 1500. the high beams stay on and dont turn off even if the truck is off . had to remove my fuse to turn off the lights multi-function switch is jammed on. i assume you tried wiggling the stick around a bit... the switch will most likely need to be changed out. this is a minor pita to do because it involves removing the steering wheel which involves messing with the airbag. .

once again. you accuse me of your own faults. i dont have to run around screaming that you dont know anything because my self esteem is just fine and every time denny accuses me of copying shit out of a manual it just makes it stronger because i dont have to. you otoh are the perfect right wing puppet who lets them work you for the money while you thank them for it and are jealous of me because i dont. well gee tom. recent posts by others in the group in other threads repeat that according to them im much better a mechanic than you. im sure that in some areas you are but not in everything like you claim. oh my tom. what can i say that would get you to understand that i have never claimed to be expert in all areas of mechanics what could anyone say that would convince you probably nothing since you are unwilling to discuss this with maturity and realise that no one is arguing the point but you. i took the compliments as intended that i was a pretty fair general mechanic but you saw them as an indirect attack. as for politics from what ive observed and from what ive seen in a few posts your political affiliation is in severe minority here. a lone mouse in a room full of cats as it were. it doesnt help that you are so committed to that agenda that you might need to be committed. lol. yes i am in the severe minority here on this we can agree. but as far as commitment i am no more committed to what i believe than you are to what you do regardless of how each of us feels about the others. i cant speak for anyone else of course but although i tend toward conservatism if i felt and believed a liberal candidate was the best choice for the country that includes the citizens of the country then i would vote for that candidate the last time that happened was with the original jfk but i was a young person of 13 at the time. ive learned much since then. there are two parties as an american i cannot vote for at all the american nazi party and the communist party. the points being you according to several people and not just myself should keep quiet both mechanically and politically. take the hint from them if not from me gary or miles. while i have heard that politically i would expect nothing else in such a right wing group but too bad in this country i have the right to express my beliefs whether you want to hear them or not. not arguing that point tom. yes you have the right but do you have the wisdom to do it a manner that will lead to intelligent non-flaming discussion or well what has transpired consrvatives are all from missouri ya gotta show it to them to get them to accept it. your approach was to essentially spout liberal propaganda verbatim. a sledgehammer to the head so as to speak. as far as mechanics most of the negative comes form your little group. and its been explained why to you repeatedly. whats wrong with having a core group to help insure accuracy of information or to blast flamers and spammers out of the water think what could happen if no one cared about informational accuracy. am i always right no but neither are you. true i dont deny it. the difference is in the amount of abuse and bs that is heard when someone outside of the core group is wrong. in reality tom youre whining about how you have been treated. yes you have caught a lot of flack over answers but you bring it on yourself by your own attitude with your spin tactics lies re-written posts. instead of a bit of maturity and asking for explanations and such you demand proofs that you wont provide when requested for them. instead of non-aggressive phrasing you use language that would embarass a dock worker i know ive been one. instead of corrupting what another poster writes to satisfy some childish need to throw a tantrum reply with intelligence and maturity. you drag up all the past offences a poster makes even when the original problem has been settled and wave it around like a sword to threaten that poster with to show how utterly evil they are . . .and all the time cutting your own foundations from under yourself. tell us tom truthfully please how would you react to that kind treatments when weve tried repeatedly including these last few replies to talk with you civilly only to be abused by you guess i dont need to say anything more do i lol like that ever stopped either one of us before - well it looks like it wont happen this time after all . . . . budd .
