thanks tom looks like ill have to get on one order this week although im not sure im looking forward to pulling parts of the dash apart - david im looking at the site right now and am wondering if the delphi sa10112 fm modulator adapter is what you used i also was unimpressed with the wireless fm modulator and went to the above-listed wired fm modulator. i think what rammans talking about is utilizing his aux input red/white rca connectors that came with his aftermarket head unit. those of us with stock radios dont have this option so the best we can get is the wired fm modulator. its still a big difference in quality. also does anyone know if a special antenna adapter will be necessary for the stock am/fm/cd radios in an 05 2500. i seem to remember reading that dodge did not use a standard antenna jack... on the radio yes its a different connector. however theres a connection behind the passenger kick panel where the wire from the antenna connects to the wiring to the radio. this connection is a standard gm-style connector and will hook up to the fm modulator. the wires from the modulator are long enough that you can mount the modulator behind the hvac controls in the center of the dash and route the wires behind the glove box easy to remove to the wiring at the kick panel which also removes without any screws - gotta love spring clips .
