chapter 8 maintenance schedules page 385 every 3750 miles. do you see the little cross and diamond symbols the diamond symbol which appears every 7500 miles denotes tier 1 epa 250hp or 305hp engines only the cross symbol which appears every 3750 miles denotes california lev 235hp engines only so unless you have a 235hp engine you would fall under the 7500 mile interval. the 3750 interval has absolutely nothing to do with maintaining the engine and everything to do with cas emissions laws. oh yeah i forgot about the left coast requirements. kinda confusing if you ask me... ill bet thats what steve is talking about. mike .
